EU-Dairy is a multilateral Project of transference of innovation of the Leonardo da Vinci program within the European Commission´s Lifelong Learning Programme.
The EU-Dairy Project is aimed to improve the visibility of professional qualifications existing in the dairy sector of the European Union. The project is based on the need to connect the labour market and the vocational training with the qualification systems, focusing on a specific sector, the dairy sector, with the goal of making its productive system act as experimental field to develop qualifications and competences at European level.
The EU-Dairy Project, by a competences certification tool, tries to erase the existing barriers for the recognition of professional qualifications and to increase the mobility of dairy sector workers.
The EU-Dairy target groups are the enterprises belonging to the dairy sector, training entities, vocational training experts and professional qualifications of the alimentary branch, employers associations and dairy sector trade unions, dairy sector workers , Public Administration, etc.
The duration of the project is two years, from October 2007 to October 2009.

The 25th of August 2009 it was published the Royal Decree 1224/2009, of 17th of July, of recognition of the professional competences acquired through the labour experience. Click here to download it.
